We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our production lines and contributing to our company's success. Responsibilities:As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will:1. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment, including motors, conveyors, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, utilizing schematics and technical manuals as necessary.3. Operate and maintain MIG welding equipment for machinery repair and fabrication.4. Diagnose and rectify faults in machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.5. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement preventive maintenance programs and improve equipment reliability.6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.7. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the engineering or manufacturing industry.2. Proven experience in repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment, including motors, conveyors, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.3. Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of electrical controls and schematics.4. Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.5. A valid Journeyman's license or equivalent certification.6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.7. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.8. A commitment to safety and quality, with a track record of adhering to all applicable standards and procedures.9.
