With decades of success and a strong reputation among homeowners and trade partners alike, they offer a collaborative, growth-focused environment for construction professionals.DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Write clear, comprehensive scopes of work to guide subcontractors and vendors with accuracy and consistencyManage the RFP process by sending bid requests, tracking responses, and ensuring timely follow-upAnalyze incoming bids to spot discrepancies, overlaps, or gaps in scope and ensure alignment with project needsDevelop and refine project budgets using a combination of vendor proposals, historical data, and cost researchNegotiate pricing and terms with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive rates without compromising qualityIssue work orders and manage change orders related to customer selections or design modificationsVet and onboard new trade partners, ensuring alignment with company quality standards and project expectationsCoordinate closely with field teams and external partners to confirm that execution matches documentation and company protocolsContribute to the ongoing improvement of purchasing systems and workflows, identifying areas for increased efficiency and cost controlProfileQualifications:At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related construction support role (construction coordination experience is a strong plus)Clear, confident communicator with strong writing skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and vendorsHighly organized and detail-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stay ahead of deadlinesComfortable using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook); familiarity with construction management software is a bonusAble to read and interpret plans, scopes of work, and construction documents with confidenceBrings a track record of effective negotiation and supplier managementThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Boulder, CO - local presence is essential to collaborate with the team and vendorsJob OfferWhats on offer:Competitive base salary ranging from $78,000 to $102,000, depending on experience and qualificationsPerformance-based bonus structure80% employer-paid health insurance, plus optional dental coverageGenerous PTO policy - start with 2 weeks and earn more over time (some team members reach up to a month)401(k) with employer match - 100% match on the first 3%This is an opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performing team where your impact will be felt across every project.
