Job Description

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges. JOB SUMMARY -- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Assists in developmental and operational testing of internal and external customer systems. Interface between instrumentation engineers and test customers to ensure that parametric data required is available for test data analysis and accurately reflects the system configuration and operational characteristics. Coordinates test program objectives and data requirements with project officer/test director and applicable systemsfor each test and assists in eliminating conflicts between tests and systems. Responsibilities involve supportingcustomers who are directly involved in programs entailing air operations, mission planning, scheduling, andcoordination efforts at the operational work sites. Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties: Assist in development, prioritization, and implementation of the weekly, monthly, and 90-day program flying Contribute as a member of a small project team Contribute basic knowledge on the test process Contribute basic knowledge on EW, RF or Protocols Develop basic data analysis tools, processes, or products for analysis Analyze pre-test predictions to define data collection requirements Assist in the conduct of test activities from control centers Order, QC and analyze data Identify and resolve basic data anomalies Provide related support as requested. Coordinates test program objectives and data requirements with project officer/test director and applicable systems for each test and assists in eliminating conflicts between tests and systems. Responsibilities involve supporting customers who are directly involved in programs entailing air operations, mission planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts at the operational work sites. Assist in development, prioritization, and implementation of the weekly, monthly, and 90-day program flying Desired Qualifications: Microsoft Office Experience, with emphasis on Excel Military Background with Mission Scheduling REQUIREMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE Completion of technical training and four years of related experience; or an associate degree and two years of related experience or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics). The incumbent must understand concepts, principles, and practices of engineering and analysis to enable the employee to serve as a technical authority on projects relating to the specific programs. The position requires knowledge and skill sufficient to apply the latest developments in technology to solve problems in the specialty area. In addition, an Operations/Test Analyst I must possess the following qualifications: Must maintain excellent communications and analytical skills Must possess working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license. SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $76,960.00 to $83,200.00 annually. Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer. WORKING CONDITIONS This position is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting up to (20) pounds, constant sitting while using a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
