Comprehensive Benefits offering 401 (K) Generous PTO Collaborative environment which fosters career advancementJob DetailsResponsibilities: Manage and maintain the company's Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate costing data. Oversee fixed asset accounting, including recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets, tracking existing assets, performing audits, and ensuring proper depreciation schedules. Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly financial reports to management, including cost analysis, budget vs actual, and variances. Maintain the general ledger system, ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions, and reconcile account balances. Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to maximize profitability without compromising product quality or service delivery. Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate product costing and to identify cost-saving opportunities. Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting processes. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the marketing industry. Proficiency in Bill of Materials (BOM) and fixed asset accounting. Strong experience in monthly reporting and maintaining general ledgers. Demonstrated success in cost reduction initiatives. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. A professional accounting certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
