About the Company:Our client is a rapidly growing food manufacturing organization who are looking to add a Corporate Controller to their team. The organization has enjoyed incredible success in the last few years' and are seeking a candidate with a similar accounting background, ideally with cost accounting experience to join the team in this newly created role. The Corporate Controller will play a critical role in overseeing all accounting activities across the company. This position is responsible for managing financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting & control, and supportive tax compliance. The Corporate Controller will collaborate closely with the CFO to drive financial & strategic planning, ensure compliance with accounting standards, own & support continuous improvement projects, and support the company's growth initiatives.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.• Overall daily control of all accounting functions, including General Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Inventory Accounting & Control, COGS, and supportive tax compliance.• Own plant operational cost accounting environment.• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting with variance analysis.• Partner with external tax firm in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.• Develop and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.• Coordinate external audits and partner with auditors to provide necessary documentation and responses, along with implementing resulting recommendations.• Drive requisite process improvements to renovate and modernize accounting processes and procedures.• Mentor, develop, and manage the Accounting Team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.• Support the CFO and Finance Team on financial planning & analysis initiatives and Continuous Improvement projects, including KPI development.• All other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial OfficerQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with CPA designation preferred.• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting.#LI-DG1#INJUN2025#ZRCFS#LI-HybridControllerControllerControllerControllerControllerController
