CNC Programmer/Machinist

Overview A growing manufacturing team is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist with strong MasterCAM programming skills and advanced CNC mill setup and operation expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing precision parts to exact specifications and contributing to a high-performance team in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Responsibilities Create NC code using MasterCAM from print to finished part Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including multi-axis operations Apply machining knowledge to a wide range of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics Develop and maintain CNC programs, tool data sheets, and setup instructions Interpret and apply GD&T standards from engineering drawings Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality outputs Work with CAD, CAM, and other manufacturing software tools Adhere to ISO 9001:2008 or equivalent quality management systems ·         Minimum 8 years of advanced MasterCAM programming experience ·         Minimum 8 years of CNC mill setup and operation experience ·         Proficient in 5-axis machining and FANUC control systems ·         Familiarity with machines such as DN Solutions / Doosan and UMC-750 is a strong plus ·         Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, and material-specific machining techniques ·         Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints ·         Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
