What you'll need to succeed as a Manager, Learning and Talent Development at XPOMinimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience5+ years of experience in talent development, learning, or organizational developmentPreferred qualifications:Experience building, leading, and developing a high-performing talent development team, supporting a complex and diversified businessPractical approach to partnering with business leaders and deliver scalable learning solutions that enable talent pipelining, capability building and succession planningDemonstrated track record of introducing and driving leadership development programs leading to tangible and measurable results About the Manager, Learning and Talent Development jobPay, benefits and more:Competitive compensation packageFull health insurance benefits are available on day oneLife and disability insuranceEarn up to 15 days of PTO over your first year 9 paid company holidays401(k) option with company matchEducation assistanceOpportunity to participate in a company incentive planWhat you'll do on a typical day:Manage the full lifecycle of talent development initiatives, with a focus on leadership development, professional skills building, succession planning, and high-potential talent programsLead the implementation and administration of 360-degree assessments to support leadership development, increase self-awareness, and provide actionable feedback aligned with organizational competenciesSupport the creation and execution of individual development plans (IDPs) for leaders and high-potential employees, ensuring alignment with business goals and succession needs.Contribute to the design, maintenance, and utilization of talent profiles and talent review tools to enable robust talent discussions, inform development planning, and guide talent decisionsManage the leadership development portfolio, including high potential leadership development programs, professional development academies, capability building projects, and talent development actionsPartner with HR Business, senior leaders, and functional stakeholders to assess capability gaps and deliver targeted development solutions that support business objectivesDesign and the oversee the creation of engaging and effective learning content using instructional design best practice (e.g. virtual, in person, self-paced)Track learning outcomes, analyze program effectiveness, and leverage data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and ensure programs deliver measurable value to the businessLead relationships with external vendors, contractors, and offshore partners to deliver high-quality development programs on time and within budgetSupervise and support team of direct reports responsible for the program management and development of leadership and professional development programs, inclusive of early career #LI-HybridAbout XPOXPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets.
