Job Title: Finance Assistant Analyst Location: Winston Salem, NC Duration: Through July with potential for extension Department: Global Business Services (GBS) Control Organization Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Assistant Analyst to join our Global Business Services (GBS) Control team. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial accuracy and compliance by managing distributor volume reporting and contributing to the integrity of distributor fee calculations and error resolution processes. This position will support day-to-day operations while also identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation. Key Responsibilities 1. Distributor Volume Reporting & Analysis Ensure accurate, timely receipt, processing, and approval of distributor volume reports on a daily basis. Analyze volume data to identify discrepancies, trends, or anomalies, and take corrective actions as needed. Track and report on processing timelines and error resolution rates to ensure performance benchmarks are met. 2. Productivity & Performance Metrics Monitor and maintain team productivity metrics as defined by senior leadership. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the reporting process. Assist in establishing goals for volume recovery resolution time and error code resolution accuracy. 3. Deadline Management Maintain rigorous adherence to all internal deadlines for volume processing and reporting. Prioritize tasks effectively based on deadlines, risk exposure, and business impact. Support the development and implementation of task scheduling and tracking tools. 4. Process Improvement & Automation Evaluate existing workflows and recommend improvements to streamline volume reporting and error resolution tasks. Implement automation tools, such as Excel Macros or other software solutions, to reduce manual effort and enhance productivity. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration Liaise with Finance, IT, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure aligned objectives and smooth execution of volume recovery tasks. Serve as a point of contact for issue resolution related to distributor reporting and financial data discrepancies. 6. Risk Management & Compliance Conduct risk assessments related to volume reporting errors, compliance concerns, or financial fallout. Develop mitigation strategies and implement internal controls to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with reporting standards. Qualifications Required: Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across various teams and influence stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to service level agreements (SLAs). Preferred: 3 5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions and formulas). Experience with Excel Macros and process automation tools. Strong proficiency in Power BI and Business Objects. Experience in high-volume reporting environments or shared services functions. Previous experience working in matrixed or cross-functional environments.
