Printer Operator (Accents - 2nd Shift)

The Position: Print Department Operators manufacture, assemble, install and support the production of C.H.I. custom printed graphics door panels. This could include the production/installation of custom printed graphics, paints, sealants or other support components.  Related Job Duties: Reads production lists and performs work as assigned by department supervisor. Lifts, measures, saws, cuts, prints, seals, cleans, clips, drills, presses, snaps, glues, caps, paints, rivets, screws, nails, insulates or otherwise assembles the materials to produce custom printed graphics garage doors and/or assemblies. Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages. Uses hand tools, power tools, computers, printers, inks, paints and other industrial equipment/machinery in the fabrication, packaging and movement of garage doors or related products. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues. Place finished goods in the proper area for shipment. Specializes in multiple forms graphics application/installation  Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly PM tasks on printer & related equipment Manage, edit, and confirm quality of print/image files  Other reasonably related duties as assigned.  Compensation $18.20 + $1.00 Shift Differential + Weekly Production Bonus Example: Hourly Base Rate = 19.20 Weekly Production Bonus = 55%. Total Hourly Rate = 29.76 Production Bonus Production Bonus percentage is variable, determinate upon attaining production goals each week. Production Bonus is paid out weekly. Profit-Sharing 10% of Nucor's pre-tax earnings are contributed to the Profit Sharing Plan annually and distributed to all eligible teammates. A large portion is deposited into your profit-sharing account, and a smaller portion is distributed in cash. Current 6-year average = 19.88% of your eligible earnings.
