Join DCI today to build lasting relationships and gain fulfillment leading local operations in an organization that is truly mission-driven.The Dialysis Area Operations Director is responsible for all operational and financial aspects of dialysis facilities and programs in a specific area, following established policies.Schedule: Fulltime, Monday through Friday, on call as neededCompensation: Pay range depends on experienceBenefits:Comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefitsLife and long-term disability insurance provided at no additional expense to employeePaid time off (PTO) including holidaysExtended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO - paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leaveRetirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percentEmployee assistance programWellness programNew AOD training and semiannual AOD workshopsAmong others Responsibilities What You Can Expect:Provide leadership and direction to clinical and support staff in assigned regionDevelop managers, leaders and teams by promoting teamwork and trust among staff and managementDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with medical directors, nephrologists, local hospital administration and renal community membersAssist the Senior Operations Director with market analysis and feasibility assessments related to prospective acute contracts, new clinic development, renovations and special projectsCollaborate with and support Nurse Managers to improve individual clinic operationsIdentify growth opportunities for in-patient and outpatient servicesAssure facility compliance with state and federal regulatory requirementsOversee facility financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management and inventory controlParticipate in fiscal budget development for assigned clinicsManage clinical and technical components of facility operations, working with local and corporate teams to achieve clinical outcomes and goals established by leadership Successful Candidates Bring:Excellent communication skillsDesire to collaborate with physicians and clinic managementEstablished leadership skillsAbility to problem solveEducation/Training:Bachelor's degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare management or similar field required, RN preferredOne year dialysis experience or similar healthcare setting requiredMinimum two years' management experience requiredPrevious experience leading and managing multiple locations within a geographic area preferredDCI's Differentiator:Since opening the first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tenn., our Dialysis Clinic, Inc. family has grown to be the nation's largest nonprofit dialysis provider with more than 270 locations in 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients each day.
