Requirements Telemetry certification is essential and must be from one of the following organizations: EKG Certification (NHA) CCT Certification (CCI) CRAT Certification (CCI) BLS Certification Experience in monitoring physical monitors Prepare patients for EKG tests Attach electrodes and operate EKG machines Record and monitor heart activity Assist with stress tests and Holter monitors Report irregular results to medical staff Maintain and clean EKG equipment Keep accurate patient records patient comfort and safety
