This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of production equipment including converting, printing, and extrusion systems, as well as associated mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components.The ideal candidate will bring a strong sense of urgency, analytical problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to team success. This is a hands-on role with a mix of preventive maintenance, emergency repair, and small project work.Key Responsibilities:Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical/electronic systems including PLC and control circuits.Execute preventative maintenance tasks across machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.Install new machines, modify existing equipment, and handle upgrades as needed.Maintain accurate records through the CMMS system and manage parts inventories for personal tasks.Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals to guide repairs and installations.Fabricate and weld components; perform basic machining tasks using lathes, mills, and other shop tools.Respond quickly to unplanned equipment downtime and initiate corrective actions.Support project work related to equipment upgrades or facility improvements.Collaborate effectively with other departments to resolve cross-functional challenges.Adhere to all safety protocols and demonstrate best practices in every task.Qualifications:High School diploma or GED required.Previous experience in industrial maintenance or equipment repair within a manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.Experience with welding, fabrication, and machining tools (lathes, mills, etc.).Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and instruction manuals.Familiarity with CMMS software and Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.Strong math skills, including ability to calculate ratios, percentages, and dimensions.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide guidance to others when necessary.Physical & Environmental Requirements:Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods.Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, and crouch.Comfortable working in elevated temperature environments.Capable of climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.Must be able to wear required PPE and comply with all safety standards.Work Schedule & Expectations:Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Night Shift)Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shiftsOvertime: May be required based on business needsInterested in hearing more?
