Supply Chain/HTS Cleanse

Position: Supply Chain / HTS Classification SpecialistLocation: Milford, IN (100% onsite) About the Opportunity:Our client in Milford, IN is seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist with a large-scale HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification and data cleansing project. This role supports the supply chain and compliance functions by ensuring product data is accurately classified and aligned with import regulations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with technical part drawings, Excel datasets, and collaborating across departments. Key Responsibilities:• Review 2,000-3,000 part prints and corresponding PDFs pulled from the internal system• Analyze product descriptions and technical specifications to determine correct HTS classifications using the HTS book• Cross-reference supplier responses and existing system data to verify or correct HTS codes• Cleanse and manage a large Excel-based database (approx. 16,000 lines) - removing non-import items and reviewing import-related lines• Track and compare previous and updated HTS codes in Excel and SharePoint• Collaborate with engineering and purchasing teams for part clarification• Participate in CDP (Customs Data Platform) training - training will be provided• May support updating the internal system to reflect validated HTS classifications Required Skills & Experience:• Strong experience reading technical part prints• Working knowledge of HTS classification, including gauge, diameter, and material-specific codes• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle and clean large datasets• Strong communication skills and comfort working across departments Nice to Have:• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or customs compliance• Familiarity with large-scale classification or data cleanup projects• Background in industrial or manufacturing environments Salary: $43,000 to $47,000 depending on experiencePlease Note: This role is 100% onsite in Milford, IN#ZRCFS#INJUN2025Click here to apply online
