This field-focused role is perfect for someone with strong experience in land development and a track record of managing scopes such as utilities, paving, and landscaping. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering impactful community developments.DescriptionThe Land Development Superintendent - Multifamily Projects will be responsible for:Overseeing daily field operations on residential land development sitesCoordinating with contractors, engineers, and utility providers to drive progressMonitoring quality, safety, and compliance with plans and local regulationsScheduling and inspecting clearing, grading, utilities, paving, and infrastructure workResolving on-site issues to maintain project timelinesMaintaining daily reports and communicating status updates to project managersEnsuring erosion control and stormwater management measures are effectiveConducting regular site walks to verify work meets specifications and standardsManaging punch lists and facilitating final acceptance with municipalitiesSupporting budgeting and forecasting by reporting field progress and challengesProfileThe Land Development Superintendent - Multifamily Projects will have:Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential site development, including erosion control, earthwork, utilities (wet and dry), concrete, paving, landscaping, retaining walls, lighting, and energy infrastructureBackground working with a site development contractor or in the land development division of a residential homebuilderProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Comfortable using scheduling and project management tools such as MS Project or ProcoreStrong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partnersOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferredHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple scopes and deadlinesSolid understanding of construction procedures, documentation, and industry terminologyJob OfferThe Land Development Superintendent - Multifamily Projects will receive:Competitive base salary based on experienceVehicle allowance providedComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage401(k) plan with employer matchingPaid time off, sick days, and company holidaysAnnual bonus tied to individual and company performanceTuition assistance and reimbursement for professional developmentMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
