We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis,preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate month-end accounting. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills,and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able todemonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Key Responsibilities• Financial Analysis:• Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business decisions.• Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to management.• Month-End Accounting:• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes.• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.• Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance.• Reporting and Documentation:• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.• Collaboration and Support:• Work closely with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.• Assist in audits and compliance activities as required.• Cross-train, as needed Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field• Demonstrated advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. Vlookups, Pivots, Sumifs)• Three years of accounting experience Preferred Qualifications: N/A
