Job Description

The CRS is part of the person-centered integrated care team and responsible for greeting patients as they arrive, check-in/check-out, verifying demographics and collecting co-pays, if applicable. This may include primary care, dental, behavioral health and specialist appointments. This position is fast-paced, requiring continuous interactions with co-workers and patients. This is a Full-time, benefit-eligible position. This position will float to Marceline, Moberly, and Salisbury clinics. Responsibilities Include: Greet patients as they arrive and stay consistent with the company's customer service philosophyManage consumer appointments, confirm appointments and alert patients if they need to bring any information to appointment (co-pays, past due balances, paperwork for PAP and/or sliding fee scale)Data Entry into EHR systemsComplete financial paperwork, ensuring all required forms are completed in entiretyVerify insurance/demographic information at each visit and update if necessaryCollect co-pays, when applicableAnswer phone in polite and courteous mannerDirect phone calls and messages to appropriate office staffMonitor waiting area to ensure timeliness of appointmentsCheck provider's schedule daily for additionsReceive daily reports from MIS for information needed on patients that have upcoming appointmentsBalance daily batch and turns in money collected for the day to Office Supervisor or Regional Office Manager, when applicableDisperse daily mailEnsure lobby/waiting area is clean and picked upTravel to other clinic sites, as neededRegular attendance except as excused, with flexibility to change hours to accommodate the clinic needsMaintain strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulationsConduct self in accordance with employee manualAttend all training as required by company, Accreditors and FundersKeep abreast of any updates/changes regarding insurance and communicate those to Office SupervisorCommunicate any changes/updates discovered through other means to Office SupervisorOther duties as assigned High School/GED preferred At least one (1) year experience in customer service requiredCareer Ladder Requirements:o Level I - with recommendation of Office Supervisor and after successful completion of Introductory Period, Onboarding Checklist, and CRS Competency Assessmento Level II - with recommendation of Office Supervisor, successful completion of Level I requirements, passage of CRS Level II Competency Exam, and successful completion of Mental Health First AidA valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required Compass Health Network is a nonprofit health care organization offering accessible, comprehensive, & compassionate behavioral health, substance use treatment, family medicine and dental services throughout Missouri.
