Contract Specialist LegalJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Contract Specialist LegalĀ for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Position Summary: The Music & Talent team is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support the end-to-end administration of music and talent agreements across our game development and publishing studios. This role plays a vital part in contract lifecycle management, supplier onboarding, payment processing, and foundational contract drafting for music licensing activities across gaming titles.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Music Licensing & Contract Administration Manage the full contract lifecycle: route agreements for signature, archive fully executed agreements in Icertis and SharePoint, and notify studios when agreements are nearing expiration. Draft and send NDAs and music/talent agreements (e.g., licensing requests, amendments, WFHs) using approved templates. Respond to contract-related inquiries, pull agreements upon request, and summarize key deal terms. Maintain and update contract trackers, agreement maps, and SharePoint deal documentation. Support MRI requests and archive responses for audit and visibility. Vendor & Payment Administration Open and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and El invoices; monitor payment status and resolve delays. Submit payment term change requests and coordinate approvals with finance. Act as administrator for supplier onboarding, and authorized sponsor process: onboard new suppliers, request and collect tax/vendor forms, and maintain accurate account information. Respond and resolve supplier inquiries regarding payment, tax issues, and vendor account troubleshooting. Manage SSPA payment system. Documentation & Systems Maintain and regularly update SharePoint trackers, Trevanna, and contract databases with deal-specific information. Generate payment reports and summaries for internal use. Qualifications: 3 years of experience in contracts administration, legal operations, music licensing, or entertainment business affairs. Familiarity to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities with exceptional attention to detail. Experience working cross-functionally with legal, finance, and creative teams. Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, ICM, Payment Central, and electronic signature tools (e.g., DocuSign, Adobe Sign). Minimum 5 years experience with Contract drafting and negotiation Minimum 5 years experience with Finance and payment administration including PO creation, invoices & payment resolution, etc. Minimum 5 years experience with Music & Talent licensing and contractsPreferred: Knowledge of music licensing rights in games, TV/film, or media. Experience with Icertis, Trevanna, or similar contract/rights management tools. Experience in the gaming, music, or interactive entertainment industry. Paralegal certificate or coursework in contracts/music business is a plus. High organizational aptitude and process orientation. Strong written communication skills and documentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills; confident liaising with both lawyers and creatives. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive agreements. Years of Experience Required: 5 overall years of experience in the field. Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role. Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain significant experience supporting music & talent contracts and a personal interest in music, voice talent, or gaming. Certification or prior experience as a paralegal would be helpful for contract support as well. Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on delivery and meeting deadlines.
