A growing agronomy services provider in Northeast is hiring for a full-time Custom Applicator to help deliver critical services to local growers.Location: Northeastern U.S. - PA/NY Border RegionCustom Applicator duties: Operate commercial sprayers and nurse trucks to apply crop inputs safely and accuratelyFollow proper rates, application techniques, and all product label guidelinesMaintain detailed application logs and perform pre-trip vehicle inspectionsAssist with loading/unloading of crop inputs, inventory tracking, and equipment upkeepHelp with basic repairs and maintenance of equipment and structuresCustom Applicator Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentMechanical aptitude and reliabilityAbility to obtain (or currently hold) pesticide/fertilizer applicator licenses (training provided)Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT medical requirementsWillingness to work long hours as needed, especially during the growing seasonCompensation: Paid training and license supportCareer path in crop consulting or agribusiness operationsWork outdoors and directly with rural producersTight-knit, service-focused team environmentFuture Ownership Opportunity: The current owner plans to retire in the coming years and is open to selling the business to someone who's ready to learn the ropes and eventually take over.
