Volt is immediately hiring for an HR Administrator in Hawthorne, California. As an HR Administrator, you will:Assist with onboarding new hires, including background checks, drug testing, I-9s, and driver approvals.Support offboarding processes, including creating termination packages and conducting exit interviews.Conduct and support new hire orientations and benefits trainings.Perform accurate ADP data entry for new hires, terminations, corrections, and updates.Review timecards and process missed punch forms.Assist with recruitment efforts including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.Respond to EDD and agency document requests and assist with compliance reporting.Support workers' compensation claims management and assist in employee relations investigations.Maintain accurate benefits billing, ensuring timely enrollments and terminations.Provide administrative support to the HR department, maintaining confidentiality at all times.Assist in HR initiatives, employee engagement events, and special projects.Travel between locations as needed and provide support for various shifts.This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, HR Management, or a related field.1–3 years of HR administration experience, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.A continuous improvement mindset for developing new and improved processes.Proficiency with ADP or similar HRIS systems.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.Schedule: Monday – Friday, on-site Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
