Test Technician - 2nd ShiftLocation: Phoenix, AZJob ID: #71104Pay Range: $24-28Plans, assembles, disassembles, reworks and, performs engineering development and qualification tests on various aircraft components and systems. Analyzes and evaluates test results to verify that required parameters have been maintained. Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.Responsibilities: Performs functional testing per part specific pre-established test procedure.Monitors tests through completion, record test data, and service test equipment as required.Documents acceptance or failure results.Demonstrates proper use of simple hand/machine tools, electronic/manual test equipment and mechanical measuring devices.Performs proper loading and unloading of electronic equipment in test beds.Complies with applicable elements of quality systems and participates in continuous improvement efforts (ACE).Meets internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.Acquires applicable skill/knowledge/certification as required.Complies with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs.Follows plans for production schedules and quality requirements.Understands end use of manufactured products.Proficiently uses computer tools such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions.Demonstrates initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.Trains others for technical tasks as needed.Interfaces with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge or resolve problems related to business issues.Participates in waste minimization efforts.Participates in audits.Requests tools and supplies in accordance with project requirements as needed.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or EquivalentUS Citizens or Persons ONLY, this is a W2 contract, no C2CMust be able to submit to a 10-panel drug screening and background check prior to startExperience with test standsExperience with vibratory tablesExperience with thermal chambersProficient in electronic component troubleshootingAbility to perform electrical assembly testing and verification per engineering requirements.Capable of running thermal and vibration testingSkilled in troubleshooting as necessary during testing processesQualifications:Previous experience as a trainer or team lead Customer Service ExperienceStrong time managementExperience with SAP (Reporting and Analytics, Documentation, Test Data, etc.)Understanding of safety and waste disposal programs.Understands end use of manufactured products.Strong communicatorAuditing and Ordering experienceUS Citizen and US Person candidates permittedButler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
