Communicates frequently with front office, documentation, and accounting and control teams as well as external counterparties. Monitor general ledger activity regarding payments associated with trade settlement. Provide detailed commentary to management for aging items. Govern receivable items assigned to trading, investigate, and reassign as necessary. Key ResponsibilitiesWork with settlements teams, front office traders and sales coverage, clients, counsel, and operations to investigate settlement exceptionsEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with clients/counterparty/team membersIdentify and escalate issues to the front office trading assistants/traders/salespeople, in-house legal counsel, and managementManage heavy trade portfolio across various lines of business while maintaining a clean aging profile Review LSTA standard documents and other legal documents including trade confirms, assignment agreements, proceeds letters, participation agreements, cash collateral agreements, and multilateral agreementsReview credit agreements, specifically assignability languagePrepare reporting to track the status of open items and measure riskOther tasks as assigned Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) PreferredFamiliarity with loan-based software (LoanIQ, ClearPar)Knowledge with LSTA standard documentation and of the LSTA Standard Terms and ConditionsKnowledge of the trade lifecycle and/or experience supporting a trading businessFamiliarity with syndicated loansPrior knowledge of loan products or trading operationsBasic accounting knowledgeInterested candidates please send resume in Word format Please reference job code 239373 when responding to this ad.
