Beverage Equipment Service Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading distributor in the beverage service industry in Raleigh, NC who is looking for a Service Technician to maintain and service their beverage machines around the Triangle area. This is a direct hire position working 7am-4pm Monday-Friday with some overtime. Responsibilities: Service Tech will install, repair, and maintain beverage equipment. Service Tech will provide customer service addressing any issues or concerns regarding the equipment and service. Service Tech will educate customers on proper operation and upkeep. Service Tech will keep track of inventory of materials and order supplies as needed. Service Tech maintain accurate records of services calls, equipment maintenance, and repairs performed. Requirements: Candidate must have previous experience repairing beverage equipment or other appliances. Candidates must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must have previous experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. Candidates must be mechanically inclined. Candidates must be open to daily travel. Experience in carpentry, construction, maintenance, HVAC, is a plus. Candidates must be comfortable interacting with customers on a daily basis. Perform walk-through equipment inspection, repair any equipmentPerform walk-through equipment inspection, repair any equipmentMaintain productive relationships with equipment manufacturers' customer service personnelInstalling equipment in auto repair shopsPerform basic repairs on down equipmentClean and disinfect medical equipmentPick up equipment from customer locationProvide customer training on installed equipmentDisinfect, repairs and troubleshoot specialty medical equipmentPerform equipment checks and inspectionsTroubleshoot, and repair forklifts and other warehouse equipmentAttend training programs on new equipmentConduct operations analyzes including developing scorecards that reflect key equipment data such as equipment utilization, field equipment service technician productivity, and equipment status (preventive maintenance, sanitization)Work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipmentSite maintaining and repairing equipmentCommunicate cost estimate information to the customerParticipate in the equipment sales processDetermining service needs on equipment and ensuring overall customer satisfaction with the serviceMaintaining and updating all current equipment maintenance recordsReport all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions for maintenance or repair to the proper supervisor
