Drug Manufacturing Technician

Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Operator Location : Santa Rosa, CA Shift Timings: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM Pay Rate : $18/hr on contract. Job Description: This is a non-exempt position, and hours worked over 40 will be compensated at time and a half. The role is responsible for the proper maintenance and operation of drug manufacturing equipment. Key duties include accurately weighing raw materials and active ingredients, combining them into blends, and maintaining a clean and well-repaired facility. Responsibilities: Operate, clean, and maintain drug manufacturing equipment. Ensure accurate weighing and blending of raw materials and active ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and facility. Complete work orders and document batches in compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Ensure accurate and error-free documentation with minimal need for corrections. Participate in required training, including cGMP and safety training, in a timely manner. Work independently or as part of a team while strictly following procedures. Receive and prepare urine specimens for processing Enter data from requisition forms and specimen bottles into the lab database Remove urine samples from packaging and load into trays for processing Accurately document and record information Education / Qualifications: High School Diploma (HSD) or GED equivalent required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely. Ability to type 40WPM Ability to carry up to 15lbs for a distance of up to 40 yards Experience using a computer and bar code scanner Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a group setting Interpersonal Skills High level of attention to detail
