A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Operator 2, Warehouse Operations in Plainfield, IN. The Operator 2, Warehouse Operations position is with a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This is a full-time / 40+ hours per week position. If you are interested in this Operator 2, Warehouse Operations position, please contact Sawyer at Operator 2, Warehouse Operations Compensation The pay for this position is $17.50 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Operator 2, Warehouse Operations Highlights This is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs 2nd shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM (must be able to work overtime as needed and could include Saturdays) Steel-toed shoes required Pre-screen document must be uploaded with candidate submittal DT (Drug Test) required Operator 2, Warehouse Operations Responsibilities Safely and accurately load and unload inbound and outbound shipments within the distribution center using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Report discrepancies between inventory counts and shipping/receiving documents Load and off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and prevents damage Locate and retrieve products and replenish picking locations Become knowledgeable about other warehouse roles and assist or back up as needed Operator 2, Warehouse Operations Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred 1 year of relevant experience required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED Experience with multiple types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker preferred Ability to obtain a forklift certification Ability to read and interpret distribution documents Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills Proficient in PC use Strong initiative and drive for results Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Physical Demands Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, hearing, twisting, lifting (including repetitive motion of wrists, hands, or fingers) Occasionally climbing and lifting over 50 lbs Normal vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and sufficient hearing to safely operate MHE Work Environment Noise level is moderate to loud Exposure to moving mechanical equipment, precarious situations, and potential temperature fluctuations Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles If you think this Operator 2, Warehouse Operations position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me"”feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
