Excellent health benefits PTO 401K matchingJob DetailsJob Details:We are a leading food company looking for a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company's facilities. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will have profound knowledge of health and safety regulations. The goal is to ensure that our business's infrastructure and equipment run smoothly and reliably.Responsibilities:1. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.2. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.3. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and good working relationships with operations department.4. Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment, test new machinery before use, and plan predictive maintenance procedures.5. Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment, and place orders when necessary.6. Ensure all team members follow the industry standard health and safety guidelines.7. Train and develop maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.8. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement disciplinary procedures as required.9. Develop strategies for improving efficiency and effectiveness of equipment and systems, and reduce costs.10. Coordinate with other department supervisors to schedule maintenance activities.11. Ensure compliance with SQF BRC FSMA GFSI, LOTO, and other relevant standards.Qualifications:1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role for a minimum of 5 years in the manufacturing industry.2. In-depth knowledge of various maintenance techniques and equipment.3. Strong understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and complex machinery.4. Sound knowledge of safety regulations, preventive maintenance, and inventory management.5. Excellent ability to lead and manage a team, with strong supervisory skills.6. Proficient in using computers and software for job management and reporting.7. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train, guide, and motivate employees.9. High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.10. Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.11. Strong understanding and commitment to safety procedures.12. Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical systems.13. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.14. Strong budgeting and performance evaluation skills.15. Ability to manage and control costs effectively.Interested in hearing more?
