We offer a full suite of product design, engineering, and manufacturing services, as well as our line of mobile power products.Why join us?Great Benefits!Cutting Edge Technology!Collaborative Team Environment!Job DetailsSUMMARY:As our Quality Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality procedures to ensure compliance with customer, commercial, and military standards. This role leads to testing, continuous improvement initiatives, plant layout enhancements, and the corrective/preventive action program. Drawing on extensive industry experience, the Quality Manager will identify training needs, drive efficiency, and support a culture of quality and innovation across the organization.TEAM: 2 Quality Engineers and 4 Quality TechniciansDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Management Representative for development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) Lead third party AS9100 / ISO9001 Surveillance Audits Develop, review and update QMS procedures and internal work instructions Participate in the supplier evaluation process and supplier performance management Administer and manage Customer Source Surveillance Audits Train employees on QMS requirements and inspection plans Schedule, maintain and conduct AS9100 Internal Audits to support QMS Review and control customer quality requirements during pre-planning phase and post award phase Lead and participates in the Material Review Board, Corrective Action Board, and Engineering Change Control Board Drive root cause analysis for corrective action process, implement corrective action, and verify effectiveness of corrective action Interface with customers to review Quality and First Article requirements Monitor In-Process inspection, First Piece Inspection and First Article Inspection Coordinate Organizational Performance metrics and Quality Objectives Document, track, and report performance metrics to top management Review and approve Engineering Changes, Work Instructions prior to releasing to production Lead quarterly Management Review Meetings Review and participate in the supplier selection and approval process Lead and promote Lean initiatives - 5S, VSM, Visual Factory Participate in production initiatives and have hands-on knowledge for improvement effortsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelors in engineering preferred.8+ years of professional Quality Engineering experience with at least 2 in quality leadership. AS9100 and ISO ISO 9001 experience Defense Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace, Electronic Manufacturing preferredInterested in hearing more?
