Industrial Controls Technician - $54,800 - $87,700 based on qualifications and experience - Centreville, VA 20121The RoleDo you have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial instrumentation and control systems? Are you confident working with complex electrical equipment, PLCs, and HVAC systems in a challenging technical environment?We are looking to recruit an Industrial Controls Technician (Level I or II) to join our Operations & Maintenance Division. You'll be part of a skilled team keeping our critical water reclamation processes running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with industrial control and monitoring systems.If you're ready to take your skills to the next level with a team that values your expertise, apply today.Key Responsibilities:You'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of a wide range of equipment, including:Process instrumentation (pH, DO, ORP, temperature)PLCs, loop controllers and distributed control systemsCommunication systems (telemetry, radios, telephones)Lab instrumentation such as spectrophotometersHVAC and refrigeration unitsGas detection and safety systemsOther key tasks include:Electrical wiring and predictive maintenanceConfined space entry (training provided)Routine calibration and fault-findingMaintaining networked DDC control systems (Technician I)The Company:UOSA is transforming the way the world thinks about water recycling. The PersonWe're looking for someone who:Has a high school diploma or equivalentBrings at least 2 years (Technician II) or 4 years (Technician I) of hands-on experience with instrumentation, controls, HVAC, or related systemsIs physically fit to meet the demands of the job (lifting, climbing, working in confined spaces)Holds a valid driving license (Virginia)Experience in a water treatment or similar industrial environment is an advantage.#ecruit
