Job Opportunity: Material Handler II Join our team in Parsippany, NJ for a 12-month position as a key contributor to our manufacturing operations. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the 2nd shift with working hours from 2:30 am to 10:30 pm. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $20.90 per hour. Essential Responsibilities: Clear residue by blowing all holes in buckets and nozzles. Load and wash all parts using the part washer. Complete all BOTs related to each part and work order. Operate electrical discharge machines under supervision to shape metal workpieces. Perform fabrication and dressing of electrodes under supervision. Secure workpieces on machine tables and make minor adjustments using measuring instruments. Adjust machine settings and immerse electrodes and workpieces in dielectric coolant baths. Start machines, inspect first pieces, and ensure conformance to specifications. Maintain tools, measuring instruments, and production quality standards. Report any unusual problems or conditions to the supervisor. Adhere to company safety rules and regulations. Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to work occasional weekend shifts and overtime as required. Commitment to wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes. Desired Characteristics: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivation. Strong ethical standards and integrity. Experience in manufacturing is preferred. Reading comprehension and ability to understand work-related documents. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions for assembly tasks. Strong communication and follow-up skills. Proficiency with computerized shop floor tools. Strong team player with flexibility to move to different areas. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
