We are currently hiring a Construction Manager Representative (CMR), who will monitor contractor activities for compliance with all project specifications, ensure safety standards are met, and serve as a critical liaison between stakeholders. You'll also support broader project management efforts including estimating, schedule monitoring, proposal reviews, and documentation.Client DetailsThis is a long-term, full-time opportunity as a Construction Manager in Fresno with a respected firm that has supported National Park Service projects nationwide for over a decade.DescriptionServe as the daily on-site representative, observing and documenting contractor activitiesLead field coordination and ensure construction meets design intent and contract specificationsFacilitate and document project meetings, including preparing detailed meeting minutesTrack project progress, report on key milestones, and oversee project schedule adherenceReview submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contractor payment applicationsEnsure compliance with all applicable safety codes and standardsCollaborate with park staff, contractors, engineers, and federal stakeholdersProvide timely reports and updates on field conditions and project developmentsSupport cost management efforts, proposal evaluations, and scope documentationProfile7-10 years of professional experience in building and construction management or owner's representationCompletion of OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety TrainingDemonstrated ability to manage federal projects with complex infrastructure scopesStrong technical writing and documentation skillsCompetency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and project management softwareExperience producing cost estimates, reviewing submittals, and writing contract modificationsPrior experience with water/wastewater infrastructure projects strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related fieldDirect experience as a CMR on National Park Service projects, near Bridgeport is a plusFamiliarity with NPS or other federal project protocols and contract administration processesJob OfferLocation: Yosemite National Park - Administrative Camp, Birdgeport, CA Client: National Park Service Compensation: Construction Manager: $120,000 - $135,000 annually + full benefits + monthly paid living expensesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
