Join a Company that Empowers you to Build your FutureWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join the Lennar Technology Group (LTG) Cloud Operations team. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing our cloud-based systems and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, automation, and security best practices to ensure the reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud environment.A career with purpose.A career built on making dreams come true.A career built on building zero defect homes, cost management, and adherence to schedules. Your Responsibilities on the Team  Cloud Infrastructure Management:Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure (e.g., virtual machines, networking, storage, databases) on major cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.Configure and manage cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and identity and access management.Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager for automated provisioning and management. Cloud Application and Service Development:Collaborate with development teams to design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications, microservices, and serverless functions.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery to cloud environments.Integrate cloud solutions with on-premises infrastructure where necessary. Performance Optimization and Cost Management:Monitor cloud resource utilization, performance metrics, and costs.Identify and implement strategies for cost optimization (e.g., right-sizing resources, auto-scaling, reserved instances).Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and other cloud-related issues. Security and Compliance:Implement and enforce robust cloud security measures, including network security, access controls, data encryption, and vulnerability management.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.Conduct regular security audits and maintain documentation of security configurations.Automation and Scripting:Automate routine tasks and operational processes using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and alerts. Troubleshooting and Support:Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.Provide expert-level support to internal teams and end-users on cloud-related matters.Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity. Collaboration and Documentation:Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, security, and architects.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices. Requirements Education Requirements:College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or engineering and/or +5 years equivalent work experience.Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Azure Administrator Associate. Experience Requirements:3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role. Technical Skills:Proficiency with one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc.Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing, VPCs/VNets).Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.Understanding of database technologies, including SQL and MySQL.Firm grasp of cloud security principles and best practices.
