FIX Onboarding SME

We are seeking a FIX Onboarding SME with hands-on experience in supporting equity products, including both high touch and low touch workflows, with a primary focus on FIX gateway support and client onboarding. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills across both business and technical teams, as well as familiarity with pre- and post-trade matching solutions.Client DetailsA Wealth Management Firm known for its extensive range of financial products and services, including asset management, risk management, and advisory services.DescriptionProvide technical support and configuration for FIX (4.2/4.4) onboarding, testing, and production across trading workflows and asset classes.Collaborate with clients, trading desks, and vendors to implement FIX connectivity and resolve integration or support issues.Coordinate application releases, FIX configuration updates, and production support with internal teams and external clients.Maintain and enhance system reliability, documentation, and operational procedures, while supporting cross-team knowledge sharing.ProfileMinimum 10+ years of hands-on experience with FIX protocols, including deep knowledge of FIX tags, messages, and order routing.Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, and Java, with strong Linux system administration skills.Expert-level understanding of FIX tags and message structures; must be able to interpret, analyze, and troubleshoot FIX logs with high accuracy.Skilled in troubleshooting, configuration management, and maintaining accurate technical documentation.Strong analytical, time management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently or within a team.THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN NEW YORK CITY FOR THE FIRST 3-MONTHS, THEN WILL CONVERT TO A HYBRID MODEL!
