Job Description

Our client, a leading non-profit organization, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Coordinator to join their team. This role will last for ~1 month, with the potential to extend as needed and requires this person to be on site 5 days a week from 8:30am-4:30pm. The role pays up to $24/hr and is a great opportunity for someone that has a passion for mission driven work.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Liaise between kitchen and drivers to ensure deliveries go out completed and on timeCommunicate with customers to relay any delays or delivery issuesPrint out orders and labels for kitchenAssist when needed with packing up ordersGather supplies needed for staffed catering eventsEnter and receive invoices into Accounts Payable systemOrder supplies for office and kitchenMaintain office organizationCreate monthly orders for standing customersConduct research into potential new customers and assist in outreachTrack receivables, communicating with clients to facilitate paymentsReceive and process credit card paymentsReconcile invoices and payments with finance departmentFormat menus, flyers, and promotional materialsProvide back up for Senior Events Manager and Director of Events for processing ordersWork with the Executive Assistant to facilitate New Hires and HR status changesWork staffed events as neededCreate materials for meetings with executives of Project RenewalMaintain social media presence with regular posts on Facebook & InstagramQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3+ years of administrative experience2+ years of food services and/or catering experienceSuperb organizational skills and strong administrative backgroundHighly reliable, detail-oriented, and resourceful team playerAbility to balance priorities on multiple tasks and maintain workflow in high pressure environmentInitiative to take on assignments with minimal supervisionSolid computer skills with knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Quickbooks, and social mediaKnowledge of POS (Toast) and expense tracking software (XtraChef) a plusStrong sales and communication skills - verbal and writtenStrong knowledge of and skills in social mediaAbility to work with team members and coordinate between teamsBeacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.If you would like to complete our voluntary self-identification form, please click here or copy and paste the following link into an open window in your browser: of this form is voluntary and will not affect your opportunity for employment, or the terms or conditions of your employment.
