This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting, billing, lease reporting, and commercial real estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of portfolio, lease, and occupancy information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. This role requires a deep understanding of Advanced MS Excel including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Data Tables.Responsibilities:1. Analyze and interpret lease documents, abstracts, and amendments for financial impact and reporting implications.2. Prepare, review, and distribute monthly billing statements based on lease terms.3. Prepare and maintain portfolio, lease, and occupancy information, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.4. Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure lease agreements are in compliance with GAAP.6. Create and maintain complex financial models using advanced MS Excel functions.7. Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems to streamline billing and lease reporting processes.8. Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analyses as required.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing and lease analysis, preferably within the commercial real estate industry.3. Strong understanding of GAAP and its application to lease agreements.4. Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Data Tables.5. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex lease documents.6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.8. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.9.
