As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, driving financial accuracy, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This is a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company as we scale operations nationwide.You will work closely with the executive team to deliver timely and insightful reporting, establish and enforce robust controls, and guide financial strategy in alignment with our long-term goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the accounting team, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger functions.Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure process integrity.Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and banking partners.Support strategic initiatives, including system upgrades, acquisitions, and geographic expansion.Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline finance operations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.Experience in multi-location or multi-entity environments is highly preferred.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).Demonstrated ability to lead teams and scale accounting processes in high-growth environments.Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Interested in hearing more?
