Now Hiring: Communications & Outreach Educator - REMOTE (PA Residents Only) Pay: $24/hour | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Location: Remote (must live in Pennsylvania) - will require one day in-office per month One in-office day required per month in Harrisburg; equipment pickup required on first day OVERVIEW: PA Government Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Communications & Outreach Educator to support the Training & Communication Division within the Bureau of Policy and Quality. JOB SUMMARY: This role helps create and manage communication and outreach plans to support different programs. It also includes working with many partners such as local and state offices, schools, and national autism organizations to plan and lead meetings, share information, and build strong relationships. Training Responsibilities: For Staff: Help create orientation and training materials for new staff, plan monthly team meetings, and support process improvements. For the Public: Plan and organize conferences and training events. This includes setting schedules, helping with presentations, working with staff, managing contracts and budgets, and choosing places to hold events. Online Training: Help build and manage online training programs for adults. This includes tracking user progress, helping users get certificates, and managing the systems that host these courses. Continuing Education: Help the organization stay approved to offer professional training credits. This includes filling out applications, keeping track of training results, paying renewal fees, and working with other groups to offer credit for training sessions. REQUIREMENTS: Remote (must live in Pennsylvania) - will require one day in-office per month One in-office day required per month in Harrisburg; equipment pickup required on first day Bachelor's degree in education, communications, or a human services field. 3+ years of experience in project coordination, communications, group facilitation, or training/event planning. Comfortable with databases, online systems, AV equipment, and general computer use.
