You Deserve a Job You Love! Volt is hiring a Order Selector for our Mesa, AZ location. As a Order Selector, you will:Locate merchandise using a voice pick system and accurately pull, check, and package items to complete customer orders.Report inventory discrepancies and shortages to the supervisor, and research as needed to locate short products to maintain a high fill rate.Stage picked merchandise in the proper area, adjusting as space needs require, and proactively report any areas of concern to the supervisor.Maintain a clean, orderly work environment, including general custodial assignments (such as trash detail) and following established cleaning schedules. Report damages or disorderly areas to the supervisor.Adhere to all customer requests according to established policies.Foster and maintain a positive, team-oriented atmosphere at all times, working together with fellow associates to promote the goals and common good of the company.Operate all warehouse equipment efficiently and safely to avoid injury to personnel and equipment. Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor upon discovery and maintain equipment as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned.Physical Demands:Perform all physical motions typical of an order picker, including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, standing or walking for long periods (often over 8 hours per shift), and lifting up to 50 pounds (or more). Push/pull carts weighing 75 pounds (or more) repeatedly throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.What You Need to be Successful:High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous warehouse experience is a plus.Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, walker-rider, etc.).Proficiency with basic arithmetic calculations.Previous experience with voice pick systems is preferred.Successfully pass a pre-employment (post-offer) background check and drug screening.This is a full-time Temp to Hire opportunity:Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM, with flexibility to work overtime until 1:00 AM as needed.Pay Rate:$17 per hourPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
