Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician - Macomb County $30 to $35 per hour Contract to Hire Injection molding experience required Specific Responsibilities: Understating of Compress air systems, Resin dryers, and mold temperature controllers Performs maintenance on primary and secondary equipment per the PM schedule Ability to read blueprints and schematics in order to perform electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs Program robots, sprue pickers, etc. Understanding of electrical, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills to repair them. Machine Installation Power, and Cooling Systems Troubleshoots and repairs high priority production equipment on the plant floor Able to disassembles damaged mechanisms to determine extent of troubles Able to repair/replace defective parts and reassemble. Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation Ability to ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities. Required Experience: 5 years of maintenance experience in the injection molding industry. Solid Understanding of electrical, pneumatics and Hydraulic Prints and schematics Able to properly use welder, hand and power tools. Creates and interprets electrical schematics.
