Job description Diesel Fleet Mechanic Full Time - Hourly With Overtime - Steady Work - On Call After Hours Plus we offer benefits, 401k, PTO, Two Weeks Paid Vacation, and year round work and Overtime As a Diesel Fleet Mechanic you will be working with other mechanics and on your own. If you have a CDL that is a plus! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services. Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment. Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment. Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns. Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. Management is helpful and it's a small amount of trucks. Everyone hear is nice and good to get along with. Ways to reach us: Send in your resume on Indeed, we will respond to setup an interview Text to request an interview: 410-246-3935 Apply Online At Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles Troubleshoot, and repair all diesel fleet equipment Maintain diesel engines used to power heavy trucks Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment Maintain a fleet of large trucks with diesel engines Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance for heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment Perform light repairs and minor electrical repairs Perform major diesel engine repairs, in frame, and diesel overhead services Performing preventative maintenance and repairs Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services Performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles Perform maintenance/emergency repairs on the fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems of diesel trucks Perform preventative maintenance on diesel, industrial tractor trailer trucks Maintain diesel engines and coach related components Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear Performing routine preventative maintenance inspections Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements
