Note: This is not a software implementation role we're seeking a telecom/networking engineer with hands-on Nokia hardware experience. Job Summary The Telecom Implementation Engineer will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting telecom network infrastructure, specifically on Nokia equipment and protocols. This includes resolving outages, ensuring optimal performance, and working shifts as needed to support network changes, migrations, or upgrades. Must Have S kills: 3 years of telecom or networking experience Strong hands-on experience with Nokia equipment (e.g., 7750 SR series, 7250 IXR, 7705 SAR series) Working knowledge of Nokia/ALU CSR Routing Protocols Strong grasp of IPv4 and IPv6 address/subnet allocations Ability to use CLI tools (e.g., Putty, SecureCRT) and GUI tools (e.g., Nokia Service Portal) Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) Ability to configure/troubleshoot point-to-point and OA&M interfaces Familiarity with network monitoring tools Ability to isolate issues up to Layer 3 of the OSI model Comfortable interpreting log files/status messages Willingness to work rotating (day/night) shifts Strong written documentation and communication skills Valid driver's license Preferred Skills: Experience with Fuze SPM, ConQuest, IOP, INAM, and Canvas/CND tools Vendor management experience Knowledge of telecom technologies like Telephony Switching, SIP, TCP/IP, MPLS, BFD, LAN/WAN protocols Experience supporting hardware (PCs, configurations) Skills in critical thinking, change management, and teamwork #LI-KR1 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
