Quality Inspector

In this role you will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting traceability and identifying nonconformities to help drive continuous improvement. Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Cleveland, OH Shift: 1 st (Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm with an opportunity for overtime) Salary: $19 an hourDIRECT HIREJob description: Responsible for performing inspections of machined or manufactured parts using a wide range of measuring tools and inspection equipment. Use tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators, and surface plates, and accurately document inspection results. Ensure all parts meet defined specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. Maintain product quality, supporting traceability, and identifying nonconformities to help drive continuous improvement. Serve as final inspector for quality and appearance of parts and assemblies Safely operate a lift truck, cranes, and other material handling equipment Inspect and measure parts to verify conformance to specifications and to maintain statistical process control charts Work closely with project managers Other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
