$20/hour | Guard Shack Clerk | 3-Day Work Week!

Position: Guard Shack Clerk Location: Tacoma, WA Experience: Must be comfortable using a PC and entering data into Microsoft Excel. Prior management experience. Pay: $20/hour Type: Full-time; Contract Schedule: Saturday - Monday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (40-hour work week) (Training for this role will take place Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (~2 weeks)) Logic Staffing is seeking a Guard Shack Clerk to join our team ! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced role interacting with a variety of personalities while applying your ability to enter data with speed and accuracy this could be the position for you! Job Description: Manage and log incoming warehouse traffic; direct shipment flow appropriately. Check in truck drivers at the gate and assign delivery gates. Handle high-volume traffic with accurate logging and system data entry using a QWERTY keyboard and various technology. Verify inventory contents against documentation such as BOLs. Stock and locate inventory following local procedures and standards. Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Greet customers and guests in a professional, friendly manner. Communicate effectively via radio and with external parties. Conduct interviews or debriefs to gather necessary information. Assist in enforcing site rules and SOP compliance. Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Position Requirements: Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but not required. Experience checking in truck drivers and working with BOLs is a plus. Familiar with Microsoft Word and other basic computer functions. Strong communication and customer service skills.
