Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, account management, and business development, with a proven track record in B2B sales. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to foster relationships with clients while effectively managing the sales process from lead generation to closing.DutiesDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives within the assigned region.Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance on best practices in territory management and customer engagement.Identify new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking within the industry.Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through effective account management and customer service.Conduct product demos and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value of our offerings.Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for informed decision-making.Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies for promoting products and services effectively.Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.RequirementsProven experience in outside sales, preferably in technology or B2B environments.Strong management skills with experience leading a sales team towards achieving targets.Demonstrated success in business development and account management.Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms.Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on customer service excellence.Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.Experience in direct sales, inside sales, or retail sales is advantageous.Strong communication skills with an emphasis on relationship building and upselling techniques.Willingness to travel within the designated territory as needed.
