Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.What You Will DoDo you enjoy power converter design?Do early-career engineers come to you for technical guidance?Do you have a strong desire to work on projects that are critical to the defense of our nation?We are seeking a professional engineer to assume a key role within the System Power, Analog and Controls Department.Design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry potentially utilizing any standard non-isolated power conversion topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost) including modules and discrete designsGuide Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creationPerform design work within the bounds of a given schedulePresent reviews of technical data to program leadership and technical staffThis position is 100% ONSITE in Huntsville, Alabama. Qualifications You Must HaveBachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with linear convertersExperience with any of the following non-isolated converter topologies:  buck, boost, and/or buck-boost Experience with design, analysis, and test with analog electronic design and analysis, such as FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp circuitsThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
