Phaxis is seeking a travel CVOR First Assist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: CVOR First AssistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 02/02/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelMUST be Certified!!! CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital: OR experience 5 years (Pass for only 5 years or more) Screen 3 years' experience NBSTSA or NCCSA or CSFA is accepted. Charting System: Epic preferred  HARD STOP: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience & CSFA, NBSTSA or NCCSASTART DATE: Candidate must complete Privileging process prior to start (approximate timeline - 3 months)SCHEDULE: DaysWEEKEND: Only required during callCALL: Call 1 day a week and 1 weekend every 4ish weeks. That is subject to change based off of departmental needs.FLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as neededMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years expected but will consider 3 years (screen) - Unit accepts first time travelersCLINICAL SCREEN: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.MUST be Certified!!!
