Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.Our mission is to develop best in industry technologies that align product capabilities to the needs of our customer.  We empower our employees to leverage design commonality and innovation, balancing risk and rigor, to achieve predictable and affordable solutions. The Digital, RF and Power Products Team is seeking a Senior Engineer with strong PCB layout skills to join our team as a Senior ECAD designer.We are looking for candidates willing to collaborate, innovate and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology.This position is 100% onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.What You Will DoResponsible for printed circuit board (PCB) designs from conception to manufacturing beginning on day oneResponsible for library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, and gerber / ODB++ filesResponsible for documentation using Mentor Graphics toolset Create designs to include PCBs as well as flex and rigid-flex assembliesResponsible for daily interface with electrical, mechanical and producibility engineering disciplines to ensure the overall design requirements are captured and accomplishedResponsibile for providing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problemsUnderstanding wide applications of technical theories and concepts in the field of PCB design and manufacturingQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of relevant experience OR, an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years experienceExperience with Xpedition environment or equivalent software tool suiteExperience in PCB design skills using Mentor Graphics or equivalent design toolsExperience designing complex analog, digital, RF, or mixed technology PCBsExperience to include at least three ( 3) of the following:PlacementRoutingAuto-routerConstraint ManagerxDM and/or xDM Library Client and/or equivalent libraryThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
