Transportation Clerk (Part Time)

Position Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Clerk to support shipping and delivery operations at an Apple Valley Distribution Center. This role involves administrative tasks, coordination with logistics teams, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Handle phone calls, filing, and light office workSupport communication with supply chain analysts, drivers, customer service, and brokersAssist in identifying and securing revenue-generating loads and backhaulsPerform data entry and generate weekly/monthly operational reportsMaintain transportation documentation and confidential recordsCoordinate delivery and pick-up of products following safety guidelinesTrack and report customer feedback and complaintsEnsure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, and other regulatory standardsMaintain driver logs and vehicle reportsParticipate in training programs related to safety and complianceProvide backup support for routing functions when neededAttend meetings and relay key information to drivers and managementQualifications:High School Diploma required1–2 years of relevant experienceStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProficiency in PC-based word processing and routing/fleet management softwareTeam-oriented with strong collaboration skillsPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
