You’ll lead efforts to define reusable components and patterns, maintain and evolve the Figma design library, and create documentation that guides product teams in applying the system effectively. It’s a high-impact opportunity to influence the future of wearables through scalable design infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and distribute a comprehensive library of design assetsCreate and maintain component files with detailed specificationsDocument usage guidelines and best practices for design system componentsCollaborate with product designers to explore new component variantsSupport cross-functional process development and refinementMaintain templates for core product screens and flowsCoordinate task tracking and handoffs (e.g., specs to engineering, updates to internal tools)Troubleshoot design file issues and ensure consistencyParticipate in feedback forums and provide design guidanceConduct thorough design audits across platforms (iOS, Android, Web)Minimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in product or systems designProven track record in design system development and stewardshipExpert-level proficiency in FigmaSkilled in Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Experience with file management/versioning tools (Dropbox, Google Drive, GitHub)Strong communicator with experience training others and scaling design knowledgeFamiliarity with Apple Keynote and Google SlidesExperience designing for native platforms (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows) and responsive webBasic understanding of HTML/CSSDetail-oriented with a systems-thinking mindsetComfortable navigating shifting priorities and ambiguityPreferred QualificationsStrong prototyping skillsExperience building and launching a design systemAbility to present ideas clearly and build consensusPassion for advocating design systems and fostering collaboration with product teamsPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
