TekSystems is currently hiring for a Patient Service Coordinator in the Columbia, MD area! MUST HAVE: 1-3 years of either medical receptionist, patient service coordinator, or something related experience! DescriptionTekSystems is currently seeking an experienced Patient Service Coordinator to work in the Columbia, MD area.The PSC will be responsible for:Patient registration and schedulingInsurance verification and coordination of services for patientsCharge entry and reconciliation functionsCo-payment and daily cash receipt responsibilitiesHandling referralsProviding front office coverage and assistance.Additional Skills & QualificationsCandidates must possess: • High school Diploma or State Qualified GED . MUST HAVE 1-2 years of medical experience (preferably in a front desk setting) . Previous EMR experience (EPIC preferred)• One to two years Customer Service Experience (receptionist experience a Plus)Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
