Front Desk/Medical Receptionist Location: WilliamsburgSchedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PMEmployment Type: Contract-to-Hire Overview:As the first and last point of contact for patients, the front desk staff play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, handling appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate patient records—all while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:Greet patients and visitors warmly in person and over the phoneAnswer calls and schedule appointments in accordance with provider guidelinesNotify medical staff of patient arrivals to keep appointments on trackMaintain a clean and organized reception areaFile and retrieve patient records to ensure treatment information is accessibleUpdate patient accounts with accurate personal and financial informationUphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulationsProcess and file incoming scanned documentsCollect co-pays and outstanding balances at check-inHandle medical records requests and manage EMR entries Qualifications:Medical Administration ExperienceConsistent work historyAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProactive and self-motivated attitudeStrong computer skills; EMR experience preferredEmployee Value Proposition:Upon permanent hire:40 hours of PTO preloaded—no accrual waiting periodOver 50% of health insurance premiums coveredScrub allowance Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
