Facilities Technician

Job Requirements Summary Objective: $18hr-$28hrThe Facilities Technician is responsible for providing a safe and functional club environment under the management of the Facilities Department and with the support of the club staff. The Facilities Technician will respond and manage assigned work orders within the ServiceChannel system, complete repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance at assigned clubs.Essential Functions:Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every timeManage facilities repair and maintenance workflow in ServiceChannelPrioritize high priority repairs and communicate any changesComplete facilities repairs in a timely manner within KPI guidelinesCommunicate with facilities and club staff and managementRegularly inspect clubs for repair and maintenance issues as well as hazardous conditionsCommute between clubs in own vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed)Job Responsibilities:Create, manage, and respond to facilities repair and maintenance work orders at assigned clubsComplete regular inspections to identify and repair problemsComplete repairs in carpentry, tile, painting, drywall, and general building repairComplete all required plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair and maintenance as assignedAnswer all inquiries from senior leadership and management in a timely, complete mannerCommunicate with club management and staff repair status and associated timelines of repairsCommunicate with facilities management repair status and associated timelines of repairsUphold club, building, facilities, service, program, and emergency proceduresAttend all mandatory meetingsAssume all other duties as assignedComplete after hours and emergency on-call work as neededRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Basic skills in carpentry, painting, drywall, and other general facility repair tasksBasic understanding of commercial electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems and some experience working with those systems as an apprentice or under supervisionStrong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detailUnderstanding of ServiceChannel or other CAFM/FMS for work order managementAbility to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitudeOutwardly facing professional appearanceAbility to handle situations with patience, tact, and professionalismWillingness to work flexible hoursCommunicate verbally and non-verballyAbility to select and use appropriate tools safe and effectivelyRequired Experience, Education & Certifications:1-4 years of previous experience in facilities preferredValid Driver's LicenseExperience of ServiceChannel or other CAFM/FMS preferredExperience of Multi-Site facilities maintenance is essentialOther relevant facilities maintenance certificationsEmployee Benefits:All US Fitness team members receive:Complimentary Membership and Guest PrivilegesDiscounts on Personal Training, Mind&Body, Aquatics, and Kids ProgramsDiscounts on Serenity Day Spa Services and all apparelEmployee Referral GiftIn-house Continuing Education Credits and CEC ReimbursementAdditional Full Time Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Benefits and Group Life Insurance Benefits401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time OffRelocation: Candidates outside of the specified area are welcome to apply but if selected for an interview, they must be willing to travel at own cost.
